Join this first AdventureConnect at Matka Travel Fair in Helsinki, Finland led by ATTA's Regional Manager, Monica Gazzera. This networking event will give you the opportunity to learn about current trends in outdoor and active travel while also networking with suppliers, buyers, media and other members from the travel industry from the Nordics and rest of Europe.

Are you aware that Finland is a country where Sustainable Tourism development has been taken to next level, by introducing a national Sustainable Travel Finland (STF), program, which helps both tourism regions and companies to advance in their sustainable journey. By attending this event you will be able to learn more about Visit Finland’s program, and suppliers who already hold STF label, presented by Liisa Kokkarinen.

11:05h Welcome: Monica Gazzera presents about ATTA, about the global adventure travel community and upcoming events for the community, she will also briefly touch on the profile of the adventure traveler and the recent trends in the adventure & outdoor tourism, based on ATTA’s research
11:30h Visit Finland presents about their Sustainable Travel Finland program and Finland’s sustainable journey
11:40h Discussion panel - Connecting with the global adventure travel community, opportunities and benefits - ATTA, Visit Finland and Regions of Oulu and Ruka-Kuusamo, discussing the collaboration between ATTA & Finland and how both the trade and the regional tourism boards can benefit from it.
