Abenteuerlust, a Thirst for Adventure

Over three days in May, more than 200 delegates from 39 different countries converged in Kitzbühel, Austria, to attend the very first AdventureELEVATE in Europe. The event brought together leaders and innovators from the adventure travel community to explore the region, build connections, exchange ideas and share insights. The event's itinerary included a wide range of adventure activities throughout the breathtaking landscapes of the Tyrolean Alps. 

In a world often preoccupied with short-term success and volume, AdventureELEVATE Europe 2024 reinforced the importance of building strong communities and redefining success. 

Through sessions focused on climate action and efficiency, attendees were encouraged to reflect and consider their sustainability efforts. Striving toward sustainability is not about perfection, rather it is a journey that begins with a single step. Keynotes from leaders in the industry further highlighted the collective importance of being honest and open about our efforts toward sustainability, shared challenges, and collaborating on solutions.

The event's theme "Abenteuerlust, a Thirst for Adventure" focused on how the European market of the adventure travel industry is poised to gather and share their expertise, learn from each other, and collaborate on the future of adventure travel.
