Wrap Up

AdventureELEVATE Latin America 2026 brought the adventure travel industry to Lima, Peru, kicking off with Pre-Adventures that ranged from the Sacred Valley and the south-central coast at Ica to the Amazon rainforest of Puerto Maldonado and Tambopata, and the high peaks of the Andes in Huaraz.

From 16-18 June, 279 delegates from more than 21 countries, including Peru, the United States, Chile, Argentina, Ecuador, Mexico, Brazil, Bolivia, Canada, China, and Colombia, gathered under the theme "Alquimia" to explore how collaboration, creativity, and new ideas can help adventure travel businesses grow while continuing to deliver meaningful experiences for travelers.

Hosted by PROMPERÚ in partnership with APTAE, the event highlighted the people and partnerships, from guides and operators to communities and innovators, shaping the future of the industry. This regional event remains the premier platform for the adventure sector in Latin America to meet, form new trade connections, network, learn about current trends, and foster new commitments among decision-makers for the sustainable development of the region.
