    Arriving to Denver, Colorado

    By Air

    Most delegates will find it most convenient to fly into Denver International Airport.

    By Train

    Union Station in Downtown Denver welcomes daily passengers from the California Zephyr. Whether you plan on hopping a train from San Francisco, Salt Lake City, or Chicago, this comfortable train ride will get you to Denver. 

    Airport Transfers

    There are many options to reach downtown Denver from the airport. The most sustainable (and cheapest) is to use the A line train from the airport to Union Station. This 37-minute ride costs $10 and has departures every 15 minutes. You can purchase tickets on the RTD app or in person at a ticket kiosk. 

    After arrival at Union Station, you can either walk 20 minutes to the Hyatt Regency, walk to 17 & Market to take the 0 bus to 17th & California or the 10 bus to 17th & Glenarm and walk 2 minutes. 

    Alternatively, you can take an Uber, Lyft, or taxi to the Hyatt Regency from the airport.

    Visiting Denver

    Urban sophistication meets outdoor adventure in Denver! This young city boasts more than 14,000 square feet of parks, making the visit to nearby places like Mt. Blue Sky very accesible.     Passports & Travel Visa

    International visitors to the USA must carry a valid passport and, if required, a valid visa. For delegates who are citizens of countries that require a visa, the ATTA can provide you with an invitation letter to assist you in your visa application. Registered delegates only, fill out the Visa Letter Request Form. Your invitation letter will be delivered by email as a PDF file within five business days.

    Climate

    The temperature in Denver, Colorado in June is expected to have a high of 72°F/22°C in the day and a low of 50°F/8°C in the evening. Denver gets an average of 300 sunny days per year, but spring can bring a short afternoon thunderstorm. A light rain jacket, sunscreen, sunglasses and layers to stay warm in the evening are recommended. Check the weather closer to the event to pack accordingly for any adventures you may participate in.

    Attire

    As with all ATTA events, the attire is “Adventure Casual.” Adventure Casual means jeans or pants with a shirt or fleece. On occasion you may see a sport jacket or casual dress, but our community prioritizes being comfortable and ready for adventure!

    Time Zone

    Denver, Colorado is in the Mountain Time Zone of the United States. On 9 March 2025, the clocks in Denver will change from Mountain Standard Time (GMT-7) to Mountain Daylight Time (GMT-6).
