Weaving Adventures: Culture, Conservation, and Connections in the Heart of the Andes
From 1-3 September 2025, 105 adventure travel industry professionals gathered for AdventureNEXT Cuenca in Ecuador. Over the course of three days, the event spotlighted Ecuador’s stunning tapestry of culture, biodiversity, and immersive adventure.
Guided by the theme “Weaving Adventures: Culture, Conservation, and Connections in the Heart of the Andes,” the event explored how community, environment, and culture intertwine to shape the future of adventure travel. Through inspiring keynote sessions, round table discussions, hands-on workshops, and field experiences across the region, delegates discovered how Ecuador’s approach to tourism embodies both innovation and interconnectedness, reminding all that true adventure begins with connection.
Perched in the southern highlands of Ecuador, Cuenca offers an irresistible mix of heritage and adventure, making it a fitting host for the ATTA’s AdventureNEXT event this September.
