AdventureConnect: Seattle/Edmonds Gray Whale Watching Trip

Puget Sound Express
Port of Edmonds Marina
Edmonds, WA 98020

Sold Out!

On Thursday, April 27, we encourage you to leave work early to join your adventure travel industry friends on a gray whale watching trip with the Puget Sound Express in Edmonds. Each spring, majestic gray whales migrate from southern waters north to Alaska. In March and April they pass through the Strait of Juan de Fuca and Puget Sound, providing an excellent opportunity to visit and learn about these whales. The tour will run approximately two hours on water that is protected and usually calm. The Hanke family (operators of Puget Sound Express) has been helping visitors see whales in their natural habitat for three generations. As their special guests, we'll also get to enjoy some of Sherri Hanke's famous blueberry buckle, made fresh daily. Drinks will be available for purchase on the boat. Attendees will also have the chance to win prizes provided by ATTA gear partner ExOfficio. Free registration for this trip is REQUIRED, and there are a maximum number of spots on the boat. Registration will close when it is full, so please register only if you can commit to attending. Registered attendees will receive confirmation and further details a week before the event.
As a part of the ATTA’s overarching mission to serve as the hub and facilitator for responsible, profitable adventure travel businesses, destinations and media, AdventureConnect events offer our vibrant communities a chance to connect, network and grow. These events are hosted locally in destinations or conferences where the adventure travel community naturally gathers. AdventureConnects range from casual networking to group outings to structured peer-to-peer or educational roundtables. Access the full AdventureConnect event calendar for events near you.
