AdventureConnect Reykjavik

Icelandic Mountain Guides and Arcanum headquarters
Stórhöfði 33, 110 Reykjavík, Iceland

The Adventure Travel Trade Association, along with the local adventure travel community of Reykjavik, invite the attendees of the International Women in Travel and Tourism Forum to attend a casual networking event at the headquarters of Icelandic Mountain Guides and learn about some of the initiatives being taken in the industry to combat climate change. Beverages and light hors d’oeuvres will be available to enjoy, courtesy of Intrepid Travel. Building upon the success of the Climate Action Leadership Studio in Gothenburg, Sweden, the ATTA has increased its commitment and accountability to accelerate climate actions for its own operations and to enable and encourage its global community of key stakeholders to do the same. Attendees will hear about our Climate Action Initiatives. UPDATE 24 January: Transportation to the event is generously provided by PEAK DMC for all Forum delegates. Meet in the lobby of the Radisson Blu Saga Hotel at 6:30pm to meet the shuttle. Return shuttles will arrive at approximately 9pm. Free registration is required below. Be sure to bring your business cards.
As a part of the ATTA’s overarching mission to serve as the hub and facilitator for responsible, profitable adventure travel businesses, destinations and media, AdventureConnect events offer our vibrant communities a chance to connect, network and grow. These events are hosted locally in destinations or conferences where the adventure travel community naturally gathers. AdventureConnects range from casual networking to group outings to structured peer-to-peer or educational roundtables. Access the full AdventureConnect event calendar for events near you.
