Reflecting on the Art of Balance in Catalonia
Around 300 adventure travel professionals from 47 countries came together in the vibrant town of Vielha in Val d'Aran, Catalonia for the 2nd edition of AdventureELEVATE Europe.
This year's conversations returned to a single, resonant theme: balance. Tour operators, guides, media, and destination leaders came together across the three-day conference with one shared question: how to grow adventure tourism while protecting the landscapes, cultures, and communities that define each destination.
AdventureELEVATE Europe 2026 reminded us that the future of adventure travel isn't about pursuing growth at any cost, but about finding and protecting the equilibrium between people, place, and profit.
