Where will AdventureELEVATE North America take place?
AdventureELEVATE will be held at the Renaissance Asheville. This AAA three-diamond hotel is located in the heart of Asheville’s historic downtown neighborhood, along the city’s Urban Trail walking tour. The Renaissance offers multiple dining options, an indoor saline pool, and rooms and suites with sweeping views of North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Mountains.
A limited number of guest rooms are available at the special AdventureELEVATE group rate of $199 USD per night. The group rate is available until Friday, May 17, 2024 (while supplies last). You can book your hotel room online here.

Arriving to Asheville, North Carolina
By Air
Most delegates will find it most convenient to fly into Asheville Regional Airport (AVL).
By Bus
Greyhound offers routes from nearby major cities including Charlotte, NC and Atlanta, GA.
Airport Transfers
Renaissance Asheville Downtown is located approximately 15 miles from Asheville Regional Airport (AVL).
Asheville Rides Transit (Sustainable Option): For only $2.00 (cash only, exact change required) you can ride the S3 Bus from Asheville Regional Airport to the ART station in downtown Asheville. Transfer to the S2 Bus and ride 3 stops to Pack Square Park, directly across the street from Renaissance Asheville Hotel. Transfer time is approximately 45 minutes.
Shared Ride (Sustainable Option): To book a shared ride ahead of time, please call Special Occasions Limo at 1-888-288-9915 or email [email protected]. Let the dispatcher know your arrival day and time and that you are with the AdventureELEVATE conference. There are no pre-scheduled shuttles, but the dispatcher will seek to combine arriving delegates together on Sunday, June 9th and Monday, June 10th. As of July 2023, groups of 2-3 cost $35 per person, groups of 4-7 cost $25 per person, groups of 8-10 cost $17 per person. Transfer time is approximately 30 minutes.
Private Taxis, Uber, and Lyft are available at AVL and typically cost between $25-$55 one way. Transfer time is approximately 30 minutes.

Passports & Travel Visa
International visitors to the USA must carry a valid passport and, if required, a valid visa. For delegates who are citizens of countries that require a visa, the ATTA can provide you with an invitation letter to assist you in your visa application. Registered delegates only, fill out the Visa Letter Request Form. Your invitation letter will be delivered by email as a PDF file within five business days.
Please note that as of May 2023, proof of COVID-19 vaccination is no longer required for non-citizen, nonimmigrant air passengers to the United States. Please confirm all entry requirements before booking your travel to the US.
Climate
The temperature in Asheville, North Carolina in June is expected to have a high of 82°F/28°C in the day and a low of 59°F/15°C in the evening. Asheville gets an average of 14 rainy days in June. A light rain jacket, sunscreen, sunglasses and layers to stay warm in the evening are recommended. Check the weather closer to the event to pack accordingly for any adventures you may participate in.
Attire
As with all ATTA events, the attire is “Adventure Casual.” Adventure Casual means jeans or pants with a shirt or fleece. On occasion you may see a sport jacket or casual dress, but our community prioritizes being comfortable and ready for adventure!

Asheville, North Carolina is in the Eastern Time Zone of the United States. On 10 March 2024, the clocks in Asheville will change from Eastern Standard Time (GMT-5) to Eastern Daylight Time (GMT-4).
