El Dorado Airport has been ranked as one of the best in South America according to the SkyTrax portal. TRANSFERS

Hosted delegates will be transferred from the El Dorado International Airport (BPG) to the hotels prior to the start of the Pre Adventures and from the hotels to the international airport, on June 28th.

Transfers from in/out the main hotels to/from the AdventureNEXT Latin America 2023 venue will be provided according to the event schedule to all delegates.

Holders of passports issued by the States, territories or international subjects: They are in List A, List B, or List C, or those that appear in the Special Cases of visa exemption, as long as the activities they carry out do not generate payments for services, wages or salaries in Colombia. 

Citizens of certain countries need to present a tourist visa to gain entry. These can be processed at the Colombian embassies and consulates abroad. You can check if you need a visa or not in the link below.

COVID-19 Measures

• The use of face masks is no longer mandatory in open spaces and later in closed spaces, for municipalities that have completed 70% of complete vaccination schedules and 40% of booster doses. Its use will continue to be mandatory in health centers (hospitals, clinics, laboratories, among others), in nursing homes and on public transport. As of May 15, the use of masks will no longer be required in schools.
• The vaccination card will no longer be mandatory to enter massive and closed events, restaurants, bars, museums, cinemas, sporting events, among others.
• Travelers may enter with a negative PCR or antigen test, without the need to have the complete vaccination schedule. The test will have to be carried out in the 72 hours prior to arrival in Colombia –48 hours if it is an antigen test–. In addition, the option of presenting the complete vaccination schedule will be maintained, without requiring additional proof.

ATTIRE

As with all ATTA events, the attire is ‘Adventure Casual’. Adventure Casual describes jeans or pants with a shirt or fleece, on occasion you may see a sports jacket or very casual dress.

WEATHER

Bogotá has a temperate climate, temperatures range between 5° and 19° Celsius and with an average annual temperature of 13° Celsius. Due to its high altitude, the city has a mountain climate and due to its low latitude it has little thermal fluctuation throughout the year. Bogotá has four seasons, mainly two rainy seasons and two dry seasons. The rains are abundant from March to May and from October to November and the dry seasons are from January to February and from June to August.

Note: If you are part of a Pre Adventure take into account the weather may vary drastically  due to the changes in altitude that will occur during the trip.

CONNECTIVITY

Please know you will be in truly awesome remote areas and Wifi will be available at most of the hotels, restaurants, and event venues, however, you should be prepared for some digital detox moments!

Titulares de pasaportes expedidos por los Estados, territorios o sujetos internacionales: Se encuentren en la Lista A , Lista B o Lista C , o los que figuren en los Casos Especiales de exención de Visa, siempre y cuando las actividades que realicen no generen pagos por servicios, sueldos o salarios en Colombia.

Los ciudadanos de determinados países necesitan presentar un visado de turista para poder ingresar. Estos se pueden tramitar en las embajadas y consulados de Colombia en el exterior. Puede comprobar si necesita visado o no en el siguiente enlace.

Medidas COVID-19

• El uso de mascarillas deja de ser obligatorio en espacios abiertos y, posteriormente, en espacios cerrados, para los municipios que hayan completado el 70% de los calendarios de vacunación completos y el 40% de las dosis de recuerdo. Su uso seguirá siendo obligatorio en los centros de salud (hospitales, clínicas, laboratorios, entre otros), en las residencias de ancianos y en los transportes públicos. A partir del 15 de mayo, ya no será obligatorio el uso de mascarillas en las escuelas.
• El carné de vacunación ya no será obligatorio para ingresar a eventos masivos y cerrados, restaurantes, bares, museos, cines, eventos deportivos, entre otros.
• Los viajeros podrán ingresar con una prueba de PCR o antígeno negativo, sin necesidad de tener el esquema de vacunación completo. La prueba deberá realizarse en las 72 horas anteriores a la llegada a Colombia -48 horas si se trata de una prueba de antígenos-. Además, se mantendrá la opción de presentar el esquema de vacunación completo, sin necesidad de pruebas adicionales.

ATUENDO

Como ocurre con todos los eventos ATTA, el atuendo es “Adventure Casual”. Adventure Casual describe jeans o pantalones con una camisa o un forro polar, en ocasiones puede ver una chaqueta deportiva o un vestido informal.

CLIMA

Bogotá tiene un clima templado, las temperaturas oscilan entre 5° y 19° Celsius y con una temperatura media anual de 13° Celsius. Debido a su elevada altitud, la ciudad tiene un clima de montaña y por su baja latitud tiene poca fluctuación térmica a lo largo del año. Bogotá tiene cuatro estaciones, principalmente dos lluviosas y dos secas. Las lluvias son abundantes de marzo a mayo y de octubre a noviembre y las estaciones secas son de enero a febrero y de junio a agosto.

Nota: Si su participación considera un Pre Adventure tenga en cuenta que el clima puede variar drásticamente debido a los cambios de altura que se darán durante el viaje.

CONECTIVIDAD

Tenga en cuenta que estará en zonas remotas realmente impresionantes y que habrá Wifi en la mayoría de los hoteles, restaurantes y lugares donde se lleve a cabo el evento, pero ¡prepárese para algunos momentos de desintoxicación digital!
