These are some general guidelines and a checklist to help you pack for your trip to Ecuador:
Considering Weather:
Expect rain with cold weather, rain with warm weather, warm dry weather, cool weather and all 4 seasons in one day. Do not expect too cold temperatures, as it won’t snow.
For your flight:
- Backpack
- Valid passport
- Flight itinerary
- Copy of travel/medical insurance, including number and contact information
- Debit Card
- Credit card
- Cash (US dollars)
- Refillable water can
- Medication, if applicable
- Changing clothes in the backpack

- Long sleeves shirts and pants for trekking in Mindo and the Amazon Rainforest
