AdventureWEEK Peloponnese will take place across the rugged landscapes and historic coastlines of southern mainland Greece. To showcase the diverse potential of the region, the program offers two distinct itineraries.
Both routes integrate world-class adventure, from hiking and rafting to sea kayaking and climbing, with deep-rooted traditions, UNESCO heritage sites, and authentic Mediterranean gastronomy.

Arrival in the Peloponnese & Welcome Briefing
Arrival in Athens marks the beginning of a gradual shift in rhythm and perspective. The transfer west introduces the Peloponnesian landscape in quiet layers, coastal light, low mountains, and the constant presence of the sea. A pause at the Corinth Canal offers both orientation and symbolism, a human-made incision that has long shaped movement and trade between regions. By late afternoon, arrival in Loutraki allows time to settle before the official welcome. Set between the mountains and the gulf, the evening begins with introductions, regional context, and a shared dinner featuring local products and wines. It is a deliberate soft opening, grounding participants in place while setting the tone for the days ahead.

COASTLINES, CULTURE, AND CONNECTION
The day opens along the Saronic Gulf, where calm waters frame an active exploration of Ancient Epidaurus. By kayak, participants move across the surface of the Sunken City, an experience that brings archaeology into direct physical engagement. The pace remains unhurried, allowing the interplay between storytelling, landscape, and
movement to emerge naturally. A seaside meal follows before shifting inland to the Sanctuary of Asklepios and its renowned theatre. Here, the narrative deepens, wellness, architecture, and cultural continuity converge. By evening, the route continues to Τοlo, where a relaxed coastal setting encourages conversation and connection.

RIVERS, RUINS & ARCADIAN RITUALS
The day unfolds along the Argolic Gulf, centered around the coastal setting of Tolo and its surrounding islets. The morning begins with a choice of authentic, small-scale experiences: a Fishing Trip alongside a local fisherman, offering insight into traditional techniques and daily life at sea, or a Kayak Trip around the small islands of Tolo, paddling through crystal-clear waters and exploring hidden coves and coastal formations.
Following the morning activities, participants gather on the small island of Daskalio for a BBQ boat lunch, a relaxed and convivial moment featuring freshly prepared local products. Set in a simple yet striking seaside environment, the experience highlights authenticity, locality, and the shared spirit of Peloponnesian gastronomy. In the afternoon, the journey transitions inland toward Nafplio, where the program continues with a shift from coastal immersion to cultural exploration.A guided walk introduces the Old Town before hands-on encounters with local artisans, pottery and loom weaving, anchoring the experience in living tradition. Evening gathers around Argolic cuisine, where land and sea meet on the table.

LAYERS OF NAFPLIO TO ARCADIAN CLIFFS
The morning invites a different way of seeing Nafplio, through an interactive, exploratory format that draws attention to overlooked details. From there, the coastal path between Karathona and Arvanitia sets a steady rhythm, with the Palamidi Fortress rising above as both landmark and vantage point.
After a late lunch, the journey turns toward Mycenae, where scale and silence redefine the day’s tone. The Lion Gate and Treasury of Atreus anchor the experience in deep time. By late afternoon, the road winds into Arcadia, arriving in Leonidio beneath striking red cliffs, a quiet but powerful transition.

Both paths reveal a landscape defined by contrast, vertical and grounded, cultivated and wild. Lunch centers on Tsakonian cuisine, where local ingredients express both geography and identity. The afternoon shifts toward cultural immersion at the Tsakonian Museum, where language and storytelling preserve a rare heritage. Dinner brings the day full circle, rooted in place, shared at a communal pace.

SACRED LANDSCAPES TO MEDIEVAL STONE
Departing Leonidio, the route climbs into Mount Parnon, arriving at the cliff-bound Elona Monastery, an architectural expression of devotion embedded in the landscape. From here, the experience moves into Geraki, where weaving traditions offer a tactile connection to community and continuity.
By afternoon, Monemvasia emerges from the sea, its stone mass accessed by a narrow causeway. A guided walk through the medieval settlement reveals centuries of layered history. The sun begins to set overlooking the Myrtoan Sea before continuing to Neapolis.

The evening gala dinner in Mystras brings the week to a close in a setting that reflects both heritage and innovation, where gastronomy becomes narrative, and partnership becomes tangible.

The day begins in Loutraki with breakfast before setting out on a sea kayaking journey from Lake Vouliagmeni to the Corinthian Gulf. Paddling along dramatic coastal cliffs, participants reach the Sanctuary of Hera, where ancient ruins meet the sea, an evocative blend of soft adventure and cultural heritage. After a relaxed seaside lunch, the route shifts inland to Arcadia. A scenic drive leads to the mountain village of Dimitsana, where stone architecture and alpine landscapes define a new setting. The evening features a village stroll and Menalon Trail presentation, followed by a traditional dinner highlighting regional flavors and community connection.

Today, culture, nature, and hands-on tradition blend in the heart of Arcadia. Begin with a visit to the Open-Air Museum of Hydrokinesis in Dimitsana, offering insight into pre- industrial water-powered technologies. Continue to the Lousios Gorge, where the group splits: one embarks on a scenic rafting journey along the Lousios and Alfeios rivers, while the other hikes a historic section of the Menalon Trail, visiting the cliffside Monastery of Prodromos and the ancient site of Gortyna. Reunited in the village of Psari, enjoy a seasonal cooking workshop and lunch at Arkadiani. The day concludes at Abeliona Retreat with a restorative Tibetan bowls meditation and a peaceful dinner.

Begin the day in the quiet mountain village of Abeliona with a nourishing breakfast and route briefing before setting out on foot along the “Trail of Healing.” This scenic hike traces ancient paths through Arcadian landscapes toward the UNESCO-listed Temple of Apollo Epicurius, one of Greece’s most atmospheric and remote classical sites. Following time to explore and reflect, return to the retreat for a light lunch. In the afternoon, descend from the highlands into Messinia, where olive groves and coastal views signal a shift in pace. Arrive in Pylos for hotel check-in, followed by free time to wander the lively village square before dinner by the sea.

After a relaxed harbor-side lunch, shift from culture to sea with an afternoon kayaking experience in Navarino Bay. Paddle beneath the cliffs of Sphacteria Island, pause for a short island walk and storytelling, and venture briefly into the open Ionian Sea. A secluded beach stop offers time to swim, unwind, and enjoy a homemade picnic before returning to shore. The day concludes with a sunset dinner in Gialova or Pylos, followed by an evening transfer to Kalamata.

Today, Kalamata blends its vibrant urban life with the rugged coastal beauty of the Mani Peninsula. Begin with a guided bike tour through Kalamata’s historic center, weaving past neoclassical architecture and seaside promenades. The ride leads to the bustling Central Market for a relaxed lunch of local flavors. In the
afternoon, transfer along the coast to Kardamyli, a picturesque village framed by mountains and sea. As the light softens, head to nearby Stoupa for a sunset e-bike ride along the coastline. Return to Kardamyli for a leisurely dinner by the water.
