After a hallmark inaugural regional conference in May 2017 revealed the commitment the Near East region has to adventure tourism, AdventureNEXT Near East returns to Jordan to deepen connections, inviting new and returning delegates to tap into another year of networking, pre-scheduled marketplace meetings, adventure discovery and keynote speakers.

AdventureNEXT Near East aims to connect the international travel trade with regional suppliers and discover new adventures in the Near East region. Tourism professionals from within Jordan and surrounding countries, along with international tour operators and media with an interest in the region, are invited to be a part of the 300-person travel trade delegation.

“The inaugural event in 2017 was like planting a seed, and there is so much more work to be done to help the Near East destinations increase their offerings — both new itineraries and timeless experiences — while empowering local communities preserve their cultural traditions,” said Manal Kelig, ATTA Executive Director of MENA. “Based on feedback from local participants and enthusiasm from delegates who attended AdventureNEXT Near East, there were not only requests but also expectations for more events to be held in the region.”
