Weather

The temperature in Montecatini Terme for the month of October averages highs of 73°F/23°C and lows of 57°F/14°C. It is best to wear layers and bring a light coat.

Connectivity

Electricity in Italy conforms to the European standard of 220V to 230V, with a frequency of 50Hz. Wall outlets typically accommodate plugs with two or three round pins (the latter grounded, the former not).

Please check with the hotel you will be staying at for additional information on internet connectivity.

Bring Your Own Water Bottle

ATTA is making a stand against single-use plastic water bottles. We ask that you remember to bring your own water bottle and coffee cup to refill at the event to reduce waste onsite.

Bringing Your Family to Tuscany?

Promozione Albergatori Montecatini Terme has even thought about your little ones if you want to bring them to explore a bit of Tuscany. Below are three daily itineraries to book while you will be networking at the Summit. Contact Barbara Boni or  Armando Quaglia directly for questions and to register.

Travel Protection & Emergency Evacuation

Important Notice: Tuscany has worked with all Pre-Summit and Day of Adventure providers to provide accident insurance to assist participants in an emergency situation. The ATTA highly recommends that all Adventure Travel World Summit (ATWS) participants purchase travel insurance to provide the level of protection and support you require during your involvement at ATWS and during Pre-Summit and Day of Adventure activities. The ATTA encourages delegates to consider purchasing travel insurance with ATTA’s Travel Insurance Partners – World Nomads or Ripcord – powered by Redpoint. Additional ATTA travel insurance and safety/medical member providers include: AIG and Global Rescue.

Tuscany has arranged for other entities to provide indoor and outdoor activities for the Adventure Travel World Summit participants. By choosing a Pre-Summit and/or Day of Adventure tours, you recognize that neither the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA), nor its agents, servants, employees, and/or officers, are in any way responsible for any activities conducted by other entities. You further agree to Release and Discharge the ATTA and its agents, servants, employees and/or officers from any claim relating to either the selection of the other entities or the suitability of the entity to provide the indoor or outdoor activity. You recognize and understand that the safety laws, regulations, and requirements for any indoor or outdoor activity may vary widely from your home country’s similar laws, regulations, and requirements. You also understand that medical care in Italy may differ from your home country and you agree to Release and Discharge the ATTA and its agents, servants, employees and/or officers from any claim relating to medical services.
